Guessing: LatyCar, since 1990 has successfully held championships in
Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Mexico, U.S.A., Costa Rica and Brazil
averaging 750 athletes each. On every occasion it has had national Masters
ruling body’s sanctions and recognition.

championship held the largest international Masters Polo Tournament ever
held in the Americas.

Instead of accepting a strategic alliance with LatyCar and unite efforts, FINA/ASUA/UANA chose to have an ‘05 panamerican
event which only registered approximately 138 swimmers.

As a result of the comparative figures and results, ASUA/UANA
President chose to write his disgraceful September 2005 communiqué
alleging LatyCar’s illegality when in fact all necessary sanctions were in
hand since 2003.

With the exception of FINA, LatyCar is an association in good standing
with all of the organizations that it has been associated with. With this
track record, LatyCar will surely attempt to deal with FINA in a legally
accepted manner in order to benefit all involved.
